Biography

Jason Luethye is an actor and voice actor whose passion for performance began long before he ever stepped onto a stage. Born in Wichita, Kansas, and raised in Austin, Texas before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, Jason spent his childhood entertaining family and friends with an endless imagination, larger-than-life characters, and a natural ability to make people laugh.

That passion found its true direction during junior high school when he enrolled in his first drama class. While performing the role of George Milton in Of Mice and Men, Jason experienced the moment that changed his life. After completing an emotional scene rehearsal, he looked up to find the entire class watching in complete silence, his teacher moved to tears. It was then that he knew he wanted to dedicate his life to performing.

After relocating to Kansas, Jason continued acting throughout high school, earning second place in Regional Dramatic Interpretation and receiving multiple theatrical scholarship offers. He also made history as the first high school student cast in Emporia State University's Summer Stock Theatre, performing the role of Ernie Cusack in Neil Simon's Rumors. He went on to attend Emporia State University on a theatrical scholarship.

While in college, Jason expanded his career into broadcasting, spending several years as a radio personality, producer, and show host before graduating from the Carolina School of Broadcasting. His broadcasting experience led to work as a producer and voice-over talent, creating audio content for nationally recognized companies including Abercrombie & Fitch, Target, and Old Navy. During this time, he also performed stand-up comedy, further sharpening his timing, improvisation, and stage presence.
